  • You are allocated a church specific email address for public display and use (eg yourchurchname@christianscience.org.uk).
  • The Contact page has a Google Map showing the church location
  • There is an image gallery to view your Church and RR pictures (all to be supplied)
  • No content management is required as all stock pricing and church detail changes are covered by the annual maintenance fee (see below)
  • No hosting or domain registration fees to pay if the site is listed under the christianscience.org.uk domain.
  • If you wish to host your own domain then there will be additional domain registration (£3.00 per month) and hosting (around £15 pa) fees to consider, details of which can be provided on request.

Steps to take

  • Review the sample content of the first and second template.
    • The first template has an horizontal menu, and the second has more pages and uses a slide-in vertical menu
    • Unwanted pages can be omitted, and your own content/wording can be substituted as and where required
  • Email your images for the Gallery page. These images are best sent as large jpgs (minimum width 800 pixels) as this will allow for any cropping and resizing needed to fit into the available space.
  • Page banner images are supplied as a default, though you can provide your own (eg local landmarks) as long as they have no copyright restrictions. Supplied images must be long and narrow, and will be cropped or resized to 1920x350 pixels to conform to the template standard.
  • Specify the name you wish to use as the church web address (eg www.christianscience.org.uk/churchname). This name will also be used as the email prefix (eg churchname@christianscience.org.uk) should you require one. Emails can also be set-up to auto-forward to one or more member's private addresses, or can be accessed directly via webmail.
  • Your Reading Room prices for the periodicals and selected stock items need to be supplied if you want them displayed. Links for each product to the UK Online RR shop entry can also be added if required.

Costs

  • There is a flat fee of £140 to use (50% discount for informal groups) either of the two templates and to host the website on www.christianscience.org.uk
  • There is an annual charge of £30 (payable in advance). This charge covers maintenance of church details, setting up email forwarding, adding lecture and thanksgiving details, periodical pricing and associated images.
  • Any additional design/graphical work that is requested will be charged for at a mutually agreed rate prior to that work being undertaken.
  • Cheques (against invoice supplied in pdf format) to be made payable to T Marr IT Services.
